Cherry Creek Machine Earns AS9100:2016 Certification
Tulsa precision machining shop adds the aerospace quality standard to its ISO 9001:2015 certification
TULSA, Okla. — October 20, 2026 — Cherry Creek Machine, a precision CNC machining shop in Tulsa, has earned AS9100:2016 certification, the quality standard widely required of suppliers across the aerospace and defense industry. The certification, issued by Tulsa-based Soleir LLC, covers the company's quality management system for custom machining services at 2045 East 59th Place North and also covers ISO 9001:2015 (certificate AQ18322026.1, effective October 19, 2026).
AS9100 is the quality management standard used across the aviation, space, and defense supply chain. It builds on ISO 9001 with additional requirements for areas including risk management, configuration management, product safety, and prevention of counterfeit parts. For Cherry Creek Machine, it opens the door to aerospace and defense programs that require AS9100-certified suppliers.
"We are proud to have built our quality system to our customers' exacting expectations," said Kevin Toews, Partner. "The certificate confirms what our team does every day, and it tells aerospace and defense buyers that we're ready for their work."
The certification follows a 2025 partnership that brought new investment into the shop, including pallet automation, new Haas turning centers, and Fulcrum ERP with real-time shop-floor tracking. Cherry Creek Machine serves aerospace, defense, oil and gas, and industrial customers, and is hiring machinists.
